HOUSTON HERE I COME!!
HEYO!!! what's up, everyone? Sister Henderson here....hehe yeah that's right I'm a missionary and holy cow does it feel SO GOOD!!!! Home MTC was the greatest experience ever and I loved every. single. second. of it! My district was absolutely amazing and I could have not asked for better people to help teach me how to become a more effective missionary! I will admit that I am NOT a morning person so having to adjust to that schedule was a little tricky but I got used to it after a couple of days!
YOU GUYS! I FLY OUT MONDAY MORNING!! I can't believe that I leave for my actual mission and I am so excited but also really nervous! I am not quite sure what to expect when I get there but the only thing I can expect is the killer humidity....curly afro hair here I come hehe!
I love all of you guys so much and I am so thankful for everyone on here! I KNOW that this gospel is so true and that JESUS CHRIST LIVES!! I would not be serving a mission if I thought otherwise and if I didn't know that the gospel of Jesus Christ can change lives..because it truly can if you allow it! I am so excited to go serve the people of Houston Texas!!! LOVE YOU ALL AND SEE YOU ON THE FLIP SIDE!

HELLO EVERYBODY!!!! WOW WOW WOW! Channelview Texas is amazing and the Pine Trails ward is even MORE amazing! I have never met such loving and humble people in my entire life and I would not complain one bit if I stayed here for the rest of my mission! Lakeesha's baptism was on Saturday and it was B E A U T I F U L! She looked so so happy and she said she felt different as soon as she came out of the water. Her confirmation was Sunday during sacrament meeting and she was GLOWING! I love this lady with all my heart and I cannot wait to see where life takes her from here. Her two kids came to her baptism and they were so emotional! AGH if only I could capture the sweet spirit that was there and put it into words! As Bishop Partsch always says, "There are miracles happening in Pine Trails." HE IS SO RIGHT!
