God is in the details!

HIIIIII everybody!! How has everyone been? I LOVE reading everyone's emails and catching up! I pray for you guys daily and I hope you guys are doing amazing things wherever you are!

These last two weeks were so full of activities it was insane! I don't remember if I mentioned this before but Baytown does not mess around with service. They have two food drives a week where we fill about 200 cars with huge boxes of food. Service is my absolute favorite thing in this world and I am so grateful to be a missionary. I get to share messages about Christ AND serve people I don't know? BINGO!!! I have learned so many life lessons in the short time I have been out and I cannot wait for everything else that God has in store for me.

We are still trying to connect with the members and get a lot of the inactives to come to church. We have had a lot of success with getting in contact with people who past missionaries have a hard time contacting! Miracles people!

If you guys could...we have a lady named Rachel who could really use some prayers. We kept calling her twice a week and we were about to drop her till today. She finally answered and was able to open up to us. She said, "I have been in a really rough place and every single time you guys called...I knew it was God given and that that was the way God was telling me I am not alone." That my friends is why I am a missionary. My heart is broken for her in all the things she is going through and I ask for you all to pray for her. She told is that she is grateful we didn't give up on her and that we kept calling. She is an amazing person and needs all the prayers she can get. Anything helps!

I LOVE ALL OF YOU!!! My testimony of this gospel has grown so much even though I haven't been gone very long. Patience is something that has been delivered to me in truck loads. Patience with myself, the people we are teaching, other missionaries, and the man upstairs. God is in charge of the details and trusting in Him can be hard sometimes. We are imperfect people and trusting in His timing is the best thing we can do. God truly has the eternal perspective and while we may not understand why stuff happens, he does and that's the only thing that matters.

☆Keep smiling
☆Find someone to serve
☆Count your blessings
