Sister Hollin Henderson

  HELLO everybody! I am alive and well here in Channelview and let me just say...this place is so magical. I have never met such amazing people in my whole life and I could serve my whole mission here. The love these people have for one another is so incredible and the Pine Trails Ward is so awesome and I am so so so happy to be here!!! So yeah uh I got a new companion...MY MTC COMP SIS HARPER!!! We freaked out when we found out we were going to be companions!!! If you can't already tell I LOVE Channelview. The people here are so prepared for the gospel and they are so open to hearing us. I am such a believer that there are no such things as coincidences and man oh man we have seen so many miracles here!  Sister Henderson has moved to Channelview Texas! Her new companion is Sister Harper, who she served with in the MTC!

HEY EVERYONE!!! How is everybody doing? I love you all so much and pray for you guys all the time!  These last few weeks have been so crazy! I got the opportunity to go do hurricane clean up in New Orleans and Baton Rouge and it was so insane! There were about 475 missionaries so it was so cool to see everyone come together! Service is my favorite thing ever and it was such a cool experience! I learned that I never want to camp in the south ever again and I hate bugs...that's okay though!  On the flip side, we have seen so many miracles here in Baytown! My favorite quote is from Russell M. Nelson and he says, " The Lord loves effort because effort brings rewards that can't come without it." We were struggling finding people and we kept getting turned. We were in a pit and didn't know what more we could do. I learned that the best thing you can do is to keep pushing.
