Transfers and Sister Harper

 HELLO everybody! I am alive and well here in Channelview and let me just say...this place is so magical. I have never met such amazing people in my whole life and I could serve my whole mission here. The love these people have for one another is so incredible and the Pine Trails Ward is so awesome and I am so so so happy to be here!!!

So yeah uh I got a new companion...MY MTC COMP SIS HARPER!!! We freaked out when we found out we were going to be companions!!!

If you can't already tell I LOVE Channelview. The people here are so prepared for the gospel and they are so open to hearing us. I am such a believer that there are no such things as coincidences and man oh man we have seen so many miracles here! This gospel is so true you guys!!! <33

Our friend Miss Lakeesha is on date for October 9th and she is so excited! She is so ready and she loves this gospel so much! She was supposed to get baptized this weekend but next weekend is her birthday and she said, "BEST BIRTHDAY EVER!" Lakeesha has come such a long way and has made so much progress with herself. She is such an example to me of what it means to turn to Christ for strength! He truly is the source of our strength and her faith is amazing!

One thing I did not anticipate coming out on my mission is how deep I would love these people and how fast I love them. The Lord works in mysterious ways and he knew that Houston Texas is where I needed to be. I have learned so much in these last 4 months and I cannot wait to see how much more the Lord has in store for me. There have been times where it has been hard. I am not going to lie but there is a reason for everything and it has helped me grow in so many ways. This gospel is so true and there have been so many incredible experiences out here and man oh man I absolutely love being a missionary.
