I LOVE BEING A MISSIONARY!!
HELLOOOOOO!!!
I'm just gonna start out by saying that I absolutely love being a missionary and it seriously is the best work. I could serve my whole mission in the Pine Trails ward and not complain one bit about it!
A lot has gone on since I last wrote and so many miracles have been happening and it shows me that the Lord truly watches over everyone!
First, ROSALEE IS ON DATE!!! This lovely lady was a social media referral and she requested a painted bible. 6 weeks later she can't get enough of the Book of Mormon and basically invited herself to be baptized! She came to sacrament meeting for the first time yesterday and SHE BORE HER TESTIMONY!!!! She leaned to me and said "Is it okay if I go up there?" UH ABSOLUTELY! This was one of the most powerful testimony meetings I have ever been to. Everyone spoke about the truthfulness of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and how true the Book of Mormon is. HOW PERFECT IS THAT! Her testimony was so powerful and she told everyone how grateful she was for making her feel so welcome and she never wants to miss a Sunday here! This woman is incredible and please keep her in your prayers!
We met the most incredible family and they told us they were now ready to start taking the discussions! It was pouring rain all day but hey...that doesn't stop us! We knocked on this door and we thought we were only going to be there for a few minutes? Nah...an hour and a half later we had return appointments and tears! This family said how powerful it has been that missionaries keep showing up at their house and they don't see it as any coincidence. The dad, Tony, said he hasn't been able to find the truth he is looking for and wants to learn more about our church. YOU CAME TO THE RIGHT PLACE! This family is so so so special and I could just picture them in the temple! The Spirit is so strong with these people!
You guys, I cannot tell you how much my testimony has grown on the power of scripture study. I have been on a high with reading my scriptures and I just can't seem to get enough of them! I wish personal study was all day long because it is so hard for me to put them down. I of course have had my questions but...the most important thing you can do to strengthen your testimony of Jesus Christ and his gospel is to read His words. You don't know what you don't know and we have been given so many wonderful tools by our Heavenly Father to help is with that and gain the knowledge for ourselves. God watches over us every single day and wants nothing but the best for us. I truly believe and know that!!
I love all of you so much and I am so grateful for your testimonies and examples you are to me. Keep up the good work wherever you are and always say your prayers. Your Heavenly Father wants to hear from you every day. Talk to Him. He loves you and wants to help you in all aspects of your life.
