Where’s the snow??

 Hello everybody!!!

I know that it has been a few weeks since I have written a weekly but the work is still going super well here in Channelview! My testimony has grown so much and I love these people more than I ever thought possible! I am still trying to get used to this no mountain or cold weather thing that exists down here in Texas! It has been in the 60s when I am expecting Idaho cold this time of year! I may never get used to it but hey...I'll take this warm weather! The more I am outside the better!

One thing I have LOVED about my mission is making connections with people. Everyone calls each other family and that is really how it should be! The world gets smaller and smaller and who would have thought I would have made connections with people down in Channelview Texas? Not randomly that's for sure! As I always love to tell people, there are no such things as coincidences and everything happens for a reason. The Lord's timing is too perfect for things to just happen by chance! Always allow the Spirit to be your constant companion in ALL aspects of your life! I have seen a huge difference in mine as I align my will with Heavenly Father's and I know the same can happen to all of you! I am far from perfect but this life is all about learning and improving. Remember that! 

Two weeks ago we had zone conference and it was seriously so amazing! We talked a lot about the Savior and what this gospel really means. To me, this gospel is a gospel of understanding. Coming to personally know Jesus Christ takes daily effort but oh you guys it is so worth it. Life is hard and sometimes it seems like we can't take one more thing wrong. Christ knows you and your Heavenly Father loves you perfectly. Once you start to understand that, you can handle anything.

 "The gospel is not comfortable but it is comforting."

Focus on building your relationship with your Savior this week in anyway you feel you can! Everything makes a difference and the Lord loves effort!

I love you guys and thank you all so much for all the birthday wishes yesterday! I truly am blessed to have such wonderful people in my life! You guys are amazing and keep doing the good things you are doing! Everything counts and always be good! This world needs it! Also, if you guys could keep Christy and Rosalee in your prayers for strength and love that would be awesome!
