6 MONTHS

 QUOTES OF THE WEEK:

"I never knew I could make someone this happy by letting them mow my lawn."
"You're timing is impeccible."
"It truly is amazing what we can endure when we know what is at the end."

HI GUYS!!!!
Yeah that's right...your eyes are not playing tricks on you! This week I will hit my 6 months as being a missionary and I cannot even explain the emotions that I have been feeling this week. We will get to that in a minute but let's get to the good stuff!

So we totally attended a wedding for an inactive family on Tuesday and it was literally on a front porch of this house. They had decorated the porch with streamers and christmas lights and there were lawn chairs set up in their yard. It was fantastic. Our bishop married them so he asked us all to go so as girls we said OF COURSE! It was the best wedding I have ever been to! We were all in our dresses and the elders in suirts but when we got there, everyone was in jeans and a shirt so we felt so overdressed! It was a miracle though because we went and talked to the bride and she asked where our church was! She said she wants to come with us soon so I guess weddings are the way to find people to teach!

We met the most incredible woman on Friday and her name is Yuri! We first called her a couple weeks ago beause she was just a previously taught person in our phone and hadn't been contacted in over a year! When she answered she said, "I was just about to call you guys. I really need you right now." *BRB CRYING* She is the most prepared person I have ever met and we set up weekly lessons with her! She held up the Book of Mormon and said, "I want to be able to hold this book and tell people I know Jesus Christ and that this book is true." When she said that, the Spirit was so incredibly strong and I wanted to tackle her with a hug! You guys, she is incredible so please please please pray for her that she will continue on the path she in on!

Oh my goodness you guys I got to mow and trim this lady's lawn that we have been helping for a few weeks now and I'm pretty sure this is what pure joy felt like. I probably sound like a crazy person but it was the BEST. DAY. EVER! I taught her how to mow and trim her lawn and she got so excited! I felt like little Pocatello Hollin who mowed lawns every day of her life. Ah the memories...golden. It really is the small things in life you guys!

We had Stake Conference this week and I want to repeat the quote I said at the beginning of this email! (If you made it this far then I am so grateful!) She said, "It truly is amazing what we can endure when we know what is at the end." This goes along with the quote that I posted on Facebook a few days ago by Joy D. Jones. It said, "Eternity is the wrong thing to be wrong about." When we come to understand what this earth life is all about, everything gets put into a whole new perspective! Our whole reason for being here is to become more like Jesus Christ and help others along their own covenant path. Do everything you can to strengthen your testimony now because this world is getting scarier and scarier! Learning how to rely on Jesus Christ is the best thing you can do and He is always there for you no matter what!

I love you guys and keep doing the good things you are doing! ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’™
