MERRY CHRISTMAS!

 HI GUYS!

I hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas wherever you are! I am not going to lie, Christmas away from home is SO HARD! It was super awesome to share messages about Christ's birth with families and helping them remember the real reason for this time of year. Once it got to my family and not being with then, I got kinda sad but that is okay! I am with them for eternity and I love the work I am doing!

A little update since the last email! I moved to Livingston Texas and for all my Idaho people, I feel like I am in a mix of small town Inkom with the trees of Island Park. It honestly is so magical and makes me feel like I am at home! I am training another missionary which is stressful but super fun! Her name is Sister Salinas and she is from Nampa! Small world!

We are currently teaching a guy named David and he trained with John Cena in cage fighting and all this stuff! WHAAA! He got in a severe motorcycle accident and is in a wheelchair but he is one of the most amazing people I have EVER met! He has gone through so much in his life but his faith in Jesus Christ is unlike anyone I have ever met. He knows everything happens for a reason and we are hoping to set a date for him to be baptized this upcoming week! Please pray for David! We are also teaching a girl named Jasmine and she is 14 years old. We got to teach her about the Plan of Salvation this last week and she thought it was the coolest thing she has ever heard! She just kept saying "This is amazing. It makes me love Jesus that much more." Yes it does!!! She is so sweet and is just soaking everything in!

I really have had to stretch myself this last week and really rely on the Atonement to help me get through some hard things these last few weeks. Missions are hard and so is the work but it is something of eternal value. This gospel is not to be taken lightly because it allows us to live with our loved ones for eternity. I know I want that and we need to do everything we can to get those blessings our Heavenly Father wants to give us!

We shared a message at a dinner we had last night and it was a silent questions message and the last question we asked them to think about and answer was. I want you guys to think about this too!

"If Christ were to walk through the door right now, what would you say to Him?"

I couldn't help but hold back tears. I love my Savior and He makes everything possible. He allows for us to change and become better. He is the one who gave His life for us because He loves us so so much. I can't imagine the pain He went through for us. There are times in my life where my choices could have saved Him some pain but because I am a natural person I did it anyway. But, because He is my Savior and He loves me, He took care of my shortcoming anyway. If that doesn't show perfect love I am not sure what else does. I love this gospel you guys and do everything you can to build a relationship with Christ! He loves you so much!

I love you guys and I hope you have a fantastic new year! Go make those goals and hold them all the way through! You can do it! Yahoo!!!!
