One year

Yes. You read the subject of the email right. ONE YEAR LATER. Who wants to go cry in a corner with me? I can't believe this is real yall because I feel like I got set apart yesterday. My first day in the MTC was last week and I got to Texas last month! Yeah right if only that was real! I am not who I was when I left and the only way I have been able to change is because of Jesus Christ. That's it. He is the light and life of the world and He should be our everything because we are everything to Him. I am not saying I am perfect because I am SO far from it. Progression and improvement is an eternal concept and I will forever be grateful for that!!! I LOVE my mission with all my heart and I can't wait to see what these last 6 months hold!

I can't believe I went a whole transfer without sending a weekly email...sorry mom. Last transfer was amazing and I miss Sister Stirland with my whole heart but as usual, I got a new companion! I guess I am hard to work with or something?🤣 Totally a joke but I have gotten a new companion every 6 weeks besides Sister Salinas! My new companion is Sister Palfreyam and we have actually served around eachother in the same district so I love her so much already! BINGO! Getting new comps so often is exciting and I have learned SO much from my companions and I would not be the missionary I am without them and their examples of Christlike love! I LOVE MY FRIENDS!

 The work here in Spring is going pretty well and we have some A M A Z I N G friends we are teaching! They ask all the right questions and are soaking up eternal truths that they once never thought of before. Man I love this gospel because it is true. Simple as that. It. is. true. and we should do everything we possibly can to have it be a part of our daily lives because our eternal progression depends on that. Why not enjoy the blessings that come from it now? Why wait??? 

It is amazing that our friends have been progressing so well but to be honest, we have been experiencing a lot of harsh rejection lately. My heart aches for those who slam doors in our faces, tell us to go away, or don't even give us a chance to say a word before they send us off. We have been teaching the Plan of Salvation a lot recently and I know God has a plan for every single one of those people. God's plan is and always has been perfect and I am grateful for our loving Heavenly Father. He loves you more than words can express. Everyone hears the phrase "God loves you" but how often do we really believe that? Do we really know who we are? I am here to testify to you that GOD. LOVES. YOU. You are a child of a living God who loves you with a perfect love. That kind of love is immeasurable so never forget that!

I really have been making an effort to study the scriptures about Christ these last few weeks and there is so much good stuff in there. Read and study the Bible yall because not only do we learn who Jesus Christ is, but the Restoration is everywhere!!!!! 

 There is a verse that the Spirit imprinted on my mind a few weeks ago and it is always being brought back to me! It's in Mark 14:61 and this is the point where Christ is before Ciaphas, the chief priests, and the scribes. He is being accused of ridiculous things and they are finding every reason to crucify Him at this point. Nothing is lining up and verse 61 gives us an insight into Christ's true character. 

"But he held his peace, and answered nothing."

I am grateful for the example Christ has set forth for us to follow because I know that I could not "hold my peace" in a situation like this. He is all loving and compassionate and I strive to be like Jesus Christ one day. I repeat this a lot but He sets the way and is the only way!!! I love my mission, I love everyone, and I love my Savior!

 If you are somewhere where humidity doesn't exist then please pray for me because summer time is here and I am back to sweating every second of the day. Yay me!!! Keep being kind examples and always choose the right! GOD LOVES YOU!  Everyday is the best day ever!!!!!!!🤟🐢🌼⭐🍎🐞🌞
