Heyyyyy everyone!!!!
So pretty much everyone we talk to thinks my companion and I are between the ages 13 and 15 so do I take that as a compliment orrrr???? We die laughing every time we ask people how old they think we are. This one lady (who was wearing a badge saying she worked at
H-E-B for 15 years) said "Honey, I've been working here longer than you've been alive!" When I told her I will be 21 in November she about fell on the floor and she was SHOCKED!!! Priceless!🤣🤣🤣
Transfers are today and Sister Palfreyman and I are staying together in Spring for another 6 weeks!!! BEST DAY EVER !!!!! being her companion is seriously the best so we were so happy when we saw we get to stay together!!! The work here in Spring has been a little tricky with friends canceling, not answering us, or not keeping commitments so it's been a little hard but we push through right? We are praying really hard to find the people who are prepared here and we KNOW they're here so we are relying on the Spirit to lead us to them! It has been SO hot and I've never sweat so much in my entire life. ever. It has been 105°+ every day this last week and that's not even including the humidity! Brutal guys and Texas is one of a kind but I wouldn't trade it for anything! We are staying super busy so the days sometimes feel like eternities but the weeks are going by faster and faster!!!! Slow down!!!!!!
I absolutely love my mission and even though it has been the hardest thing ever it has also been the most rewarding! I have changed in so many ways and I have loved seeing how the gospel of Jesus Christ changes lives. Something we can't physically see has the ability to influence our eternal destiny if we allow it to. The influence the Spirit has on our lives is so incredible and we shouldn't take the gift of the Holy Ghost for granted! The most important thing you can ever know in this life is that God loves you. Guys, please never doubt that. God loves you so He has a personal plan for your life. God loves you so He sent His Son to comfort you and provide a way for you to come back to Him. God loves you so He gave you this earth and amazing people for you to lean on. God loves YOU with a perfect love. That is one thing I have learned the most on my mission is that God loves me and He also knows I'm human. I am so far from being perfect but as long as I am trying, that seriously is all that matters. Holding ourselves to too high of a standard is not the way...it is by the small goals to eventually get us where we want to be and consistently pushing!!!😊
