"I'm still above the ground!"

 hello everyone!!!πŸ‘‹πŸŒŠ

so much has happened this transfer and I can't believe we are already on the last week of it! This time next week I could be staying another 6 weeks here or I could be getting moved! WHO KNOWS! I am excited to see where the Lord needs me and where I will end up!

This transfer has been an interesting one to say the least. It has been H A R D in so many different ways but we just put our heads down and kept on plowing through. We had to basically do a full 180 flip on the people we are currently teaching and there has been quite a bit of heartache there for sure but there have also been many miracles we have seen! I guess the hardest thing about serving a mission for me is loving people so much. I would have never thought it would have been but It takes one visit and I am so invested in their lives and their spiritual well being that when they don't accept the restored gospel my heart is sad. And it's all because I know the gospel can change their lives and their family can be sealed for eternity!!! I have been constantly reminded this transfer that God is perfect and He knows ALL things and He is taking care of every single one of His children. I have had to put a lot of trust in that and having the faith to find those who are truly ready to receive the gospel! I have also been reminded this transfer to not forget all the blessings my companion and I have received and I was grateful for that reminder! When we are in the thick of it it is easy to forgetting small blessings but it changes everything when we take the time to recognize everything God has done for us!!!

Our friend Floyd is on date to be baptized this Sunday and he is A M A Z I N G ! We found him looking for a less active member which turns out to be his brother! Long story short we are helping Roy get back to church (brother) but also helping Floyd get on the covenant path! He is so prepared and is soaking everything in! When we taught him the Word of Wisdom we were worried he wasn't going to take it as well as he did but this was a sign to us that he is ready. He stopped everything and when we asked how he is doing it he said, "Well, I just listen to the Book of Mormon!" People are amazing. Sister Palfreyman and I are so excited for him and he is progressing VERY well! Please keep Floyd in your prayers so he will continue to stay strong on the path he started! Everytime we call him and ask how he's doing he says, "Well I'm still above the ground so I guess I'm doing pretty good!"🀣 I love Floyd!!!!

In my studies I really have been focusing on the Book of Mormon and I know it's true! I have felt the Spirit a lot lately as I have been studying it over again and every time I do I just know it's true and the power of the Spirit is what will bring us to conversion in Christ and His gospel! As I have been on my mission, I have realized just how much I took the scriptures for granted when I was back home because they would have helped me overcome so many things. Whatever trial we are going through, we can get through it because of the Atonement of Jesus Christ and by learning more about Him! I am grateful for all the tools our Father in Heaven has blessed us with because they ultimately point us towards Him while the world is trying to do the opposite! One day when I was in my personal study, I came across this scripture and it was an answer to prayers!!!!! Let me share it with you and make sure to insert your own name in there:

Moroni 8:2-3
2 My beloved son, Moroni, I rejoice exceedingly that your Lord Jesus Christ hath been mindful of you, and hath called you to his ministry, and to his holy work.
3 I am mindful of you always in my prayers, continually praying unto God the Father in the name of his Holy Child, Jesus, that he, through his infinite goodness and grace, will keep you through the endurance of faith on his name to the end.

I love you all!!!! till next time!!!!🀍🀸‍♀️πŸΏπŸ™πŸš˜
