Pure Joy!

 HEY HEY HEY!!!!πŸ™Œ

I am so sorry I realized it's been a whole transfer (6 weeks) since I've sent out an email!!!! I think it's only been about a week and then I check and it's been 6! I'll be better at updating yall for the last 12 weeks of my mission! I promise I'll be better!!!!!

We found out transfer news Sunday nightand Hermana Tait and I get to stay together! YIPEEEEEEE!!! We are so so excited!!!!πŸ₯³ This transfer has been full of SO MUCH that I'm not sure I will be able to compose it all! It has been a transfer full of W O R K and I could not be more happy to be here on a mission and in this assignment! Being Ministering Sister has been the BEST ever and I adore every single sister missionary here. They have been teaching ME so many valuable lessons and they truly help me stay focused on what is truly important, and that is the Savior. We have been able to travel the mission and spend time with each companionship and it has been such a blessing and privilege to be with them! I love each of them so so much!🀍

If I were to pick a theme for this last 6 weeks it would be "prayer" for over a thousand different reasons. Being in the YSA branch has been so fun but in terms of finding, it hasn't been the easiest! We haven't been able to find the elect yet and we have been pleading with Heavenly Father to lead us to those who are ready. Everyone we tried to teach was either too busy or ignoring us. My friends, the power of prayer is so real but one thing that is in the same category is patience. Patience that the Lord knows all and He will make things happen when they are supposed to. The last two weeks of the transfer have been miracle filled and our hearts have been filled with pure JOY as we have seen the hand of God in this area. It has been amazing and we are now teaching two incredible people who are very excited about the restored gospelπŸ€— The best way to end this transfer was General Conference and I am truly grateful for the leaders of this Church and many questions were answered and the Spirit was definitely present! I was so happy!!!!πŸ™ŒπŸ™Œ

I am so excited for what this next transfer holds and I seriously love this gospel with my whole heart!!!!!! It truly changes people and General Conference this last weekend was POWERFUL! In my personal study the day before I came across this quote that I LOVE:

"I speak of these recent conversations to teach the principle that a message given by a General Authority at a general conference—a message prepared under the influence of the Spirit to further the work of the Lord—is not given to be enjoyed. It is given to inspire, to edify, to challenge, or to correct. It is given to be heard under the influence of the Spirit of the Lord, with the intended result that the listener learns from the talk and from the Spirit what he or she should do about it”
-Dallin H. Oaks

The words of the prophets are meant to challenge us and help us stay strong along the covenant path! The enduring to the end principle was a main theme of General conference for me and it made me realize that we all need eachother to one day make it to the Tree of Life, which is eternal life with our Heavenly Father and families. Life is not meant to be easy but having our foundations build on Christ is what will make our lives easier like President Nelson promised. I could sit here and type all day long about the things that stood out to me during conference  because it was so so so amazing!!!!! The gospel is trueπŸ₯°

love y'all and I hope everyone is well and enjoying the cool weather:))
