AHHHHHH !!!!

These last few weeks have been absolutely incredible and I have seen God's hand more than I ever have before. Miracle upon miracle has been right in front of our eyes and we have found some absolutely incredible people who are so ready to receive the gospel. About two weeks ago, we met this lady who had been praying for a church and she literally wrote on her whiteboard in her house "praying for a church home" so she instantly accepted our message and has been studying the Book of Mormon non stop and is excited to come to church! This other girl (SHE IS YSAAAAA!!!!) is the most prepared person I've ever met and had met with missionaries a year ago. She has taken all the lessons but didn't feel she was worthy enough to be baptized so she took a year to really figure things out. We had the most INCREDIBLE lesson with her yesterday and she even gave out a Book of Mormon to her teacher and expressed to us how she now feels ready for baptism! My heart melted and she is so elect!

Texas is a wild place but it now has the title "HOME". Houston will forever hold some of the most cherished memories of my life and I am not who I was when I first came to humidity central. This place has been the refiners fire (literally though in the summer sheesh) and there were definitely moments of frustration, anger, sadness, worry, and a bunch of different things that now looking back showed me how to turn to God in the hard times. But at the same time, I have never felt so much joy, love, peace, hope, and happiness either. He has truly been there for me and I know He is always there for everyone always. His purpose is clearly stated in Moses 1:39, "This is my work and my glory, to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man." God never fails us. He told us His purpose and can never lie or He would cease to be God. Trust in Him because He is the best one to fully trust and have no worries! The world makes it hard to trust, but God is above the world and wants you to come home.

The Church just. makes. sense. If you really sit back and think about it, it all makes sense and lines up with the teachings of the Savior. We needed the proper priesthood authority on the earth so we can be with families forever. It just makes sense or why else would we be here? The Book of Mormon testifies of another civilization of people and their experiences with the Savior. It just makes sense. God still speaks to us today and we NEED a modern day prophet. It just makes sense. I could create a large list of things that just makes sense but the most important one for me is the reality of God and His Son. The only way we can change is through Him and it is okay if some things are unexplainable, that shows that God is at the helm and we need not worry.

I truly have felt the support from all yall these last 18 months and my heart has been full of love for you. Thank you for the prayers and constant support because I saw it here. Pray for me that I don't freeze when I get home because with freezing temps and no humidity in Idaho, I'm gonna be the coldest raisin there is. Believe me. I'm gonna need help.

I love you guys and I'll see you all soonπŸ˜ŠπŸ’“
