Where’s the snow??

 Hello  everybody!!! I know that it has been a few weeks since I have written a weekly but the work is still going super well here in Channelview! My testimony has grown so much and I love these people more than I ever thought possible! I am still trying to get used to this no mountain or cold weather thing that exists down here in Texas! It has been in the 60s when I am expecting Idaho cold this time of year! I may never get used to it but hey...I'll take this warm weather! The more I am outside the better! One thing I have LOVED about my mission is making connections with people. Everyone calls each other family and that is really how it should be! The world gets smaller and smaller and who would have thought I would have made connections with people down in Channelview Texas? Not randomly that's for sure! As I always love to tell people, there are no such things as coincidences and everything happens for a reason. The Lord's timing is too perfect for things to just happe...

I LOVE BEING A MISSIONARY!!

HELLOOOOOO!!! I'm just gonna start out by saying that I absolutely love being a missionary and it seriously is the best work. I could serve my whole mission in the Pine Trails ward and not complain one bit about it! A lot has gone on since I last wrote and so many miracles have been happening and it shows me that the Lord truly watches over everyone! First, ROSALEE IS ON DATE!!! This lovely lady was a social media referral and she requested a painted bible. 6 weeks later she can't get enough of the Book of Mormon and basically invited herself to be baptized! She came to sacrament meeting for the first time yesterday and SHE BORE HER TESTIMONY!!!! She leaned to me and said "Is it okay if I go up there?" UH ABSOLUTELY! This was one of the most powerful testimony meetings I have ever been to. Everyone spoke about the truthfulness of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and how true the Book of Mormon is.
